The first step begins with our enquiry form via email or via our website. Please fill out as many details as possible so we can start the design process.
Step 2: Vision
Discussion of your design and inspiration to finalise all elements of your creation including sizing.
Step 3: Quote
Initial quote of design including delivery. At this stage a 50% deposit is required to confirm your order.
Step 4: Delivery
We will work directly with your event planner to ensure a smooth delivery of your design including scheduling and serving coordination.

What is the difference between “cake layers”& “tier
Cake layers are the individual sponge sections stacked with filling in between.
A tier is a full cake made up of layers and a multi-tiered cake has two or more of these stacked on top of each other.
Cake Portion Guide
Our cakes are typically cut into two portion sizes:
Dessert portion: 1” x 2” x 6” - ideal for larger, more generous slices
Coffee portion: 1” x 1” x 3” - ideal for smaller, more delicate slices
The portion count will vary depending on how the cake is sliced, and when you receive a quote, we’ll provide a suggestion based on your event's needs.

The earlier, the better! Cakes are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Depending on the shape, size and design we kindly request a minimum of 2-8 weeks notice, so best to book as early as possible.

Once your quote has been finalised, we will provide you with an invoice for payment of a non 50% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable within 2 week of your collection/delivery date.

Due to promotional, insurance and food health & safety purposes, undecorated cakes are unavailable for purchase.

Unfortunately, we are unable to sell non-gluten-free cakes. As a Coeliac, Rhi takes pride in quality control of all of her cakes to make sure they are delicious for all customers. And trust us, you can't tell the difference.

Yes, we do offer cake collection, however, please remember your cake is a delicate piece of art! Once the cake leaves our care, it becomes your responsibility, and we cannot be held liable for any damages that may occur during transportation.
Located in St Kilda, Melbourne, our address will be shared upon order confirmation. Each cake is carefully boxed for secure transit.

All cakes will be packed and stored securely in a cake box. For safe transportation of your cake, the best place is on the floor of your car. This is typically in the passenger side footwell or your car boot. It is advised to drive slowly with extra care.
It's strongly advised to keep the car air conditioner on. Avoid placing cake boxes on car seats and refrain from pressing on the sides of the cake box; support from underneath is recommended. -
Yes! Delivery is available for an additional fee starting from $40, and is subject to availability. It's highly recommended, especially for 2-Tier cakes and larger, to ensure the delicate designs remain intact during transportation.
Cakes are typically delivered 1-3 hours before the event for display. Refrigeration is crucial, particularly in warmer months, for earlier deliveries.

Our cakes require refrigeration until ready for display, which means you will need to find room in your fridge for storage. You will be provide with box dimensions prior to pick up/delivery.
If refrigeration is not possible, ensure it is kept away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Before cutting, remove your cake from the fridge 1 - 2 hours and allow it to come down to room temperature before enjoying!. Adjust timing as needed based on the weather and temperature conditions.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days, but it is always best when eaten fresh.

Deposits: 50% deposits are non-refundable within six weeks prior to the delivery/pick-up time for your order, and non-transferable to new orders or another persons in any circumstance
Cancellations: No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event.
Changes to Orders: Any changes to delivery/pick-up times are at our discretion and may incur additional fees.
Consumed Orders: We cannot issue refunds for orders that have been consumed (in full or part).
Date Changes: We do understand that things happen; if you need to move your order date, you will need to notify us in writing, and the new date is subject to availability.
